As usual, washing clothes into the late nights... Stupid new washing machine taking much more time to finish 3 batches of clothes than the last one... Started at 10pm, finished at 3am... Enough about household chores, *sigh* At least it enabled me to watch the Champion League Finals between AC Milan (Italy) and Liverpool (England).
It was an exciting match though disappointing as well during the first half. First goal at the 1st minute by AC Milan was awesome, though i was hoping Liverpool can level in half-time. Yet, the slobby defense made alot of chances for the fast forwards of AC Milans, and Crespo scored 2 goals to make 3-0 by half-time. I have been a supporter for Liverpool ever since i got to know soccer, ^-^" That's why i said it was both exciting and disappointing; exciting because of excellent plays by AC Milans, disappointing because Liverpool has no sign of reviving.
Who knows what the manager did during the break? Steven Gerrald, the captain of Liverpool scored at the 54th minute reviving hope, if any, for Liverpool, with a nice header. Anyone would have thought of it as a consolation goal, but Smicer scored a powerful shot from far right towards the bottom left corner, leaving the goalkeeper completely beaten at 56th minute. An excellent cross saw Steven Gerrald roaming into the penalty area, got a push from behind and PENALTY!!! It was clear which direction the goalkeeper will dive but Xabi Alonso still shot towards the bottom left corner with a weak feeble shot, luckily he got to the rebounced and brought it to a draw, 3-3!
Carragher from Liverpool has been wonderful thus far for the defense. The Liverpool fans has revived while the supporters of AC Milan went dead suddenly. Well, if the manager of Liverpool cant see, anyone of us could! Luis Garcia is totally useless in this match, ruining already a couple of chances earlier, providing free fast counter by AC Milan which had already proven deadly! He should be replaced as soon as possible, isnt it? And of course, Milan Baros, i'm not sure what had gotten into him, his performance has not been up to standard so far, still, i prefer Michael Owen, my favourite, *sob* *sob* *sob*
Darn, only at the 84th minutes does the manager realise he need to get Baros off the field? Hopefully Cisse does some wonder and gets Liverpool a late winner to make 3-4! Now, when will Luis Garcia be replaced?! Now Crespo is out, i think Liverpool has a better chance, or more possible a draw, i think. Oh yar, if you are wondering, im writing this blog right during the match starting from the 77th minute, hahaha, oh shit... im gona miss abit of action, it is RAINING!!! Time to close the windows, grrrrrrrrs....
OMG, DRAW! YES, more actions for another 30 minutes!!! I pray for my Liverpool... *praying* *praying* But i think i gona die soon due to lack of sleep, >.< Let's hope such an exciting match doesnt end up in a penalty shootout @@
... ... speechless... PENALTY SHOOTOUT!!! What a way to end this exciting match... crap...
Finally, all ends, my Liverpool won! Ok, time to get some sleep, cosy nice weather, zzzZZzzZ
