Unusual Tuesday... i think so... haha...

It was always the same old thing everyday, repeating itself over and over again. I will be doing either household chores, sleeping, playing mmorpgs, watching tv, watching movies, singing at kbox, watching sleague matches live at stadiums, playing lan game, chatting at msn, plain surfing the net or any other crappy stuffs (which i dont think have anymore?).

Well, today (Tuesday, though written EARLY on Wednesday) was kinda abit different. Yesterday, while chatting with Joey online at msn, we were discussing as to wat show should we watch today. Well, it was kinda a little extra more enjoyment for me while DOOMSDAY awaits just 3 days later from this time im writting this. But was a pity that he already watched all available (either piracy or movies, haha), and there just wasnt any new shows lately. Speaking of which, all the new shows are on show ONLY when i get enlisted into the NS, either tv programmes or the cinema shows. This seriously makes me fedup somewhat and somehow, :@ Oh well, we had read on another of our friend's blog, and know that she got a new job, and hey, why not? Let's go and give her a little support and of course, we will be doing something new from what we all have been doing usually.

So i met up with He Quan and Joey around 2pm (or so xD) and headed for Dhoby Gaut, well, we got a little confused over the direction (man has poor directional sense!?) and luckily Joey kinda remembered the way over as we walked along. But first, well, Joey wanted to claim some money from Singapore Pools, so we went to the Paradiz Centre first, and hey, it was kinda a funny joke, haha! Well, we were already at the Paradiz Centre, and yet, Joey could exclaim "Where is Singapore Pools?"! It was simply hilarious, as the Singapore Pools signboard was just directly in front of him! We almost made our stomach suffer from too much giggling, laughing. It was around 3pm then when Joey claimed his "Prize", and He Quan wanted to go to the toilet (simply... how many times was it today? xD) and well, since they ate their lunch while i hadn't, i proceed to the food court below for lunch, and Joey accompanied in with a Fried Hokkien Mee, haha, cant believe he can still eat. But, we wasted some time this way, only managed to go over to THE MIND CAFE at around 3.30pm.

We went over, Joey make a joke again, as he tried to find a handle to the door, while one of the staffs stared at, and proceed to push it to a side... again... we laughed like..... almost idiots, we managed to control ourselves, haha. Then our friend came over to "serve" us, basically chatting with us, haha, we were chatting and playing the board games available there. It has a nice cool environment, nicely flourished, well not kinda good with words, but it was nice being in there for the day. Maybe it was weekdays and customers was kinda not in high volume, the ambience and environment is truely nice, highy recommend anyone to go and patronise. Oh ya, the staffs were also very friendly, and patiently explaining the games to us. I was reminded of just how many years have it been since i touched board games? We were really enjoying the games that we played for the day, and joking over some of the silly mistakes sometimes we made. And to He Quan and Joey, i kinda realized my "San Zhi Jin" (三字金) hasnt been used today? Or did i use any? If i did, probably much lesser than usual i guess?

And there was an incident whereby when we were playing our first board game of the day, we were playing half-way, when suddenly another crowd of customers came in (4-5 girls + 1 guy, didnt realise the guy until they were leaving, he was walking last). We didnt think much though, except that suddenly, there was roars and loud exclaimation from our back, it was from them, boy, they were so darn noisy! But it turned to be amusing instead, because we kept hearing "Joey, this and that, lalala, etc, etc". Oh my gosh, same name! Apparently OUR Joey was kinda bushed, while He Quan and me were having such a hard time trying to control ourselves from laughing out too loud! And when they were leaving, the girls said something like "Joey bye bye", and before they all left, i was imitating that line to He Quan and Joey, and this time, we really HAHAHHAHAHAHA, and opps! I realized that some of the group were still exiting by the entrance, did they hear us? If so... so be it, it was just so FUNNY!

We had our dinner over there as well at around 6pm, both Joey and me kept asking He Quan if he wanted to eat also, but he said he had dinner prepared for him at home, so we didnt insisted. Oh my, my Fish&Chip is so BIG, but it kinda taste bland and flour flour (watever), while Joey's Chicken Cutlet looks so YUMMY! We were eating so slow that we didnt realise that meal took us 45mins, while He Quan's stomach grumbled (hopefully dinner was good at home =D). We played on till 9pm, enjoying more games and having more fun. Oh wait, there was this once, that one of the female staff while trying to explain a game with our friend to us, tried to sit beside Joey, but our friend immediately said, "We cant sit beside customer", well... Joey's reply was "Nevermind, sit sit"... and hey... all of us immediately knew wat he was thinking, *winks winks*

Overall, really, as said, it was a really nice, cool place to be in. Food can be enhanced, air-cons too (i was sitting directly below so it was kinda hot and sweaty for me throughout as the cool air blew to He Quan), and also, the billing is new, but the receipt just looks weird, or was it supposed to be artistic? =P

When i reached Kovan, i decided to buy some supper back home for my family, and well, was making countless calls back because i have never bought any before there. It was always my brother and sister buying the supper from there (a hawker centre few distance from the mrt station). Well, at least now i know where to get the good food from, =)

Anyway, it had really been a fun and enjoyable day today for me. Board game is nice, and THE MIND CAFE, is definitely one place i will go to during the weekends when im able to come out from camp in tekong. It will be finally a good reason and hobby (or not?) to remove me from my mmorpg life and into the real life fully. And i would like to dedicate this post and this day to the almighty Joey, one of my best buddies since seconday school, it wouldnt be so much fun if you had not been there today to produce so much jokes and fun, all the best iddling and slacking around, while i prepare for DOOMSDAY. And also, you had too much, leave some for us, Lap, Quan, You and Me know what it means, ^.^
