Finally after 14 straight days in camp at Tekong for NS, friday 24/06 was my first book out day! Actually for these first 14 days, the training programme was not really that tough, and was quite relax, but maybe it was just my poor physique that made it tough for me. Im not fit, and was sick during the 2nd week, down with serious cold and cough. It made me weak and felt hard to breathe but i tried my best to endure and fight on to complete each one of the lesson, though it was a fultile and weak performance.
When i booked out on friday, i was so dead tired, i took the wrong bus 89 or something and went to Hougang Central Bus Interchange instead of stopping at a bus stop near my house. It was so tiring to carry that heavy field pack of mine and walking such long distance back home. The moment i reached home, i started packing out my stuffs for laundry, have dinner, bath and went to sleep.
Then on Saturday, i woke up in the morning feeling so weak and sick, that i was not intending to even get out of my bed! But still, i managed to pull myself out of bed and get to my family doctor down at Serangoon North. Dr Ling Chuen told me that my airway was too tight, and put me on a gaseous medicine treatment, where i had to sniff from some thing for like 30-45 mins. Truly it did help, by partially clearing my block nose, and my chest did not feel so tight anymore. Later he told me that my airway is not totally clean yet or something, and said i was always suffering from bronchitis, and now was the worse he ever seen, asthma on me. Oh well, i was abit shocked also. Then i told him about the leg pain i have, the symtoms and such, which was also affecting my performance during training as well. After some diagnosis, he concluded that i might have suffered from stress frazfture on my left leg.
Argh... i felt like im cursed or something, sigh... Then i went home, ate something, took the medication, and went out at night to meet up with joey and lap for a night movie. I felt much much better after the medication. I went to the comic shop first to buy the comics i missed out while in camp, before meeting them. Initially we wanted to watch "Intial D" (damn joey watched pirated "Batman Begins" and "Mr & Mrs Smith") already. But dunno due to joey or lap (maybe both), we ended up watching "A Lot Like Love", oh my gosh....3 men together watching this kinda show. While watching half-way, i felt like the plot was so similar, and if anyone can remember, there was this show on channel 5 a while ago entitled "Boys & Girls". And yeah, i dunno if it was because i watched "Boys & Girls" already, that's why i found "A Lot Like Love" is like so boring, there was countless time that i was so sleepy and almost fell asleep. I went back home, due to medication effect, i couldnt take it, and fell asleep, without finishing my comics yet.
Today, i woke up feeling much better, rest and medicine did help alot i guess. After slacking around, i went to the army market at beach road with my brother to purchase stuffs that i will need for NS when i book in later on tuesday morning. Actually the doctor wanted to excuse me for exercise (im not sure how long) but after hearing that i was having my physical training phase, he felt he cant give me that (i will be wasting the physical training phase and suffering at BMT), so he gave me MC for Sunday and Monday, so its 7.30am reporting at the ferry terminal on tuesday then, so early...
Oh well, now back home, watched some tv programme, slacking around, resting as much as i can, since i know booking in, confirm will be very 'siong' one. So so tired and sleepy... i just want to take my medicine and sleep now... I will pack my field pack tml then... zzzZZzZz

Finally watched Twin Spica
I cant remember when did i stop watching it, maybe few months ago, Twin Spica is a 20-episode short anime. Just before i go in, maybe just wanna complete watever i havent been able to, tats stockpiled. Took 1 whole day to dl the remaining episodes and watched from where i stopped. It was a really really nice, touching anime, very much different from the others available. Just a pity, the ending was abit short and abrupt, maybe a nice thing or maybe not, up to own preference i guess.
Just finished it now, and watching 我猜我猜我猜猜猜 (Wo Cai Wo Cai Wo Cai Cai Cai) right now. Really nothing much to do, maybe going to sleep soon, due to early enlistment in the morning tml. Peace out, 13 weeks camping in the way...

Last going out before ns...
Went to the KBox with Joey and He Quan this afternoon to sing sing and have some fun. Maybe we had not patronize it for too long, the happy student hours was reduced to 2-5 instead of last time 2-7. All of us felt it was abit of an unfair price now, and not really worth going to KBox anymore. What was funny about this was after we left KBox, we took some fliers from some distributors while walking around, and on it was shown 2-7! And if anyone didnt notice, it was put as KBox 04's. We were grittling our teeth away!
He Quan wanted to go home for dinner and watching channel 8 shows, but we managed to persuade him for movie, and all of us felt it was worth all the money for, 雀聖 (Que Sheng). It was hilarious, sending all in the cinema bursting out in laughters every now and then. The usual crews of silly Ah Wang, Fat Mantis Wang Jin, haha, just that the ending was a little too abrupt, with Ah Wang saying "I dont wish to be the King of Mahjong" and showing the girl who fancied Ah Wang, having her big teeth returned to the usual size (usually making oneself ugly in Wang Jin show and at the end back to own usual pretty self). We kinda had expected that Ah Wang will be with her, too abrupt again the ending... We think there was alot of scenes cut anyway from the movie, as shown in the last part of the show, showing the cut scenes. Sigh, if only im not in Singapore, i had wish i was in Hong Kong or Taiwan, just one of these days, im gona go to these countries. Well, anyway, 雀聖 (Que Sheng) is a definite must see comedy for anyone who wish to have a relaxing day laughing away.
Oh ya, we were at the arcade before the movie, we played some games with the credits i had on my card. It was so long ago since i played in the arcade, i almost forget i had the card!
Oh well... just a last outing with usual bunch of friends before i go in... tomorrow will be a rest day for me, just for saturday... start of DOOMSDAY....

Wah, si virus!
Today was quite strange, louie doesnt talk much to me on msn messenger one, but he msg me saying "Come chat with us, click here LINK to join, come!" Well, initially i ignored, but he msg a few times back saying the same old thing again. So i guess, okok, just go, but the moment the file is open, my virobot immediately detected a backdoor virus or something and deleted it. I tried a few more times, and finally decided to stop since i dont want to risk any infection afterall since it doesnt sound quite like louie afterall.
Then after a few hours, i think louie went on a massive msg to all on his msn saying he was infected and the virus was spreading through msn! Well, i thought i was alright, but just in case, i use virobot to scan my files again which took an hour or so without any results, so i thought it was okay.
But nearing the end of this day, im was just trying to be safe and use my bullguard, which is a more powerful yet irritating software. The moment it was on and virus definition updated, some hidden or sleeping, yet maybe harmless virus/spyware/trojan/etc that was lurking in my com (dunno from when one) was found! Argh!!! Anyway, now going through painful process of cleaning up my com, it was already a pain in the ass trying to solve the problem of serious corrupted files and disk space allocation error just a few weeks ago.
Time may be up for my com, i dont know, just trying to do whatever i can to make it stable before i go to tekong. To anyone, just anyone, if i send a virus to u via email or msn, pls kindly notify me, thanks, and hopefully none of any friend gona go through the same thing.

Unusual Tuesday... i think so... haha...
It was always the same old thing everyday, repeating itself over and over again. I will be doing either household chores, sleeping, playing mmorpgs, watching tv, watching movies, singing at kbox, watching sleague matches live at stadiums, playing lan game, chatting at msn, plain surfing the net or any other crappy stuffs (which i dont think have anymore?).
Well, today (Tuesday, though written EARLY on Wednesday) was kinda abit different. Yesterday, while chatting with Joey online at msn, we were discussing as to wat show should we watch today. Well, it was kinda a little extra more enjoyment for me while DOOMSDAY awaits just 3 days later from this time im writting this. But was a pity that he already watched all available (either piracy or movies, haha), and there just wasnt any new shows lately. Speaking of which, all the new shows are on show ONLY when i get enlisted into the NS, either tv programmes or the cinema shows. This seriously makes me fedup somewhat and somehow, :@ Oh well, we had read on another of our friend's blog, and know that she got a new job, and hey, why not? Let's go and give her a little support and of course, we will be doing something new from what we all have been doing usually.
So i met up with He Quan and Joey around 2pm (or so xD) and headed for Dhoby Gaut, well, we got a little confused over the direction (man has poor directional sense!?) and luckily Joey kinda remembered the way over as we walked along. But first, well, Joey wanted to claim some money from Singapore Pools, so we went to the Paradiz Centre first, and hey, it was kinda a funny joke, haha! Well, we were already at the Paradiz Centre, and yet, Joey could exclaim "Where is Singapore Pools?"! It was simply hilarious, as the Singapore Pools signboard was just directly in front of him! We almost made our stomach suffer from too much giggling, laughing. It was around 3pm then when Joey claimed his "Prize", and He Quan wanted to go to the toilet (simply... how many times was it today? xD) and well, since they ate their lunch while i hadn't, i proceed to the food court below for lunch, and Joey accompanied in with a Fried Hokkien Mee, haha, cant believe he can still eat. But, we wasted some time this way, only managed to go over to THE MIND CAFE at around 3.30pm.
We went over, Joey make a joke again, as he tried to find a handle to the door, while one of the staffs stared at, and proceed to push it to a side... again... we laughed like..... almost idiots, we managed to control ourselves, haha. Then our friend came over to "serve" us, basically chatting with us, haha, we were chatting and playing the board games available there. It has a nice cool environment, nicely flourished, well not kinda good with words, but it was nice being in there for the day. Maybe it was weekdays and customers was kinda not in high volume, the ambience and environment is truely nice, highy recommend anyone to go and patronise. Oh ya, the staffs were also very friendly, and patiently explaining the games to us. I was reminded of just how many years have it been since i touched board games? We were really enjoying the games that we played for the day, and joking over some of the silly mistakes sometimes we made. And to He Quan and Joey, i kinda realized my "San Zhi Jin" (三字金) hasnt been used today? Or did i use any? If i did, probably much lesser than usual i guess?
And there was an incident whereby when we were playing our first board game of the day, we were playing half-way, when suddenly another crowd of customers came in (4-5 girls + 1 guy, didnt realise the guy until they were leaving, he was walking last). We didnt think much though, except that suddenly, there was roars and loud exclaimation from our back, it was from them, boy, they were so darn noisy! But it turned to be amusing instead, because we kept hearing "Joey, this and that, lalala, etc, etc". Oh my gosh, same name! Apparently OUR Joey was kinda bushed, while He Quan and me were having such a hard time trying to control ourselves from laughing out too loud! And when they were leaving, the girls said something like "Joey bye bye", and before they all left, i was imitating that line to He Quan and Joey, and this time, we really HAHAHHAHAHAHA, and opps! I realized that some of the group were still exiting by the entrance, did they hear us? If so... so be it, it was just so FUNNY!
We had our dinner over there as well at around 6pm, both Joey and me kept asking He Quan if he wanted to eat also, but he said he had dinner prepared for him at home, so we didnt insisted. Oh my, my Fish&Chip is so BIG, but it kinda taste bland and flour flour (watever), while Joey's Chicken Cutlet looks so YUMMY! We were eating so slow that we didnt realise that meal took us 45mins, while He Quan's stomach grumbled (hopefully dinner was good at home =D). We played on till 9pm, enjoying more games and having more fun. Oh wait, there was this once, that one of the female staff while trying to explain a game with our friend to us, tried to sit beside Joey, but our friend immediately said, "We cant sit beside customer", well... Joey's reply was "Nevermind, sit sit"... and hey... all of us immediately knew wat he was thinking, *winks winks*
Overall, really, as said, it was a really nice, cool place to be in. Food can be enhanced, air-cons too (i was sitting directly below so it was kinda hot and sweaty for me throughout as the cool air blew to He Quan), and also, the billing is new, but the receipt just looks weird, or was it supposed to be artistic? =P
When i reached Kovan, i decided to buy some supper back home for my family, and well, was making countless calls back because i have never bought any before there. It was always my brother and sister buying the supper from there (a hawker centre few distance from the mrt station). Well, at least now i know where to get the good food from, =)
Anyway, it had really been a fun and enjoyable day today for me. Board game is nice, and THE MIND CAFE, is definitely one place i will go to during the weekends when im able to come out from camp in tekong. It will be finally a good reason and hobby (or not?) to remove me from my mmorpg life and into the real life fully. And i would like to dedicate this post and this day to the almighty Joey, one of my best buddies since seconday school, it wouldnt be so much fun if you had not been there today to produce so much jokes and fun, all the best iddling and slacking around, while i prepare for DOOMSDAY. And also, you had too much, leave some for us, Lap, Quan, You and Me know what it means, ^.^

Prepared for NS...
Woke up at noon today, and went to hougang mall with my brother, to purchase whatever i still lacked for my PTP and BMT. It took a while to find all that i was finding, and abit tiring to walk to and fro there to my house. After finish my purchases, went over to a nearby hawker centre for my favourite duck rice! YUMMY! Havent tasted it for so long, and arent gona taste it for a long time in the future either, sigh.
Was actually looking forward to 九五至尊 (Jiu Wu Zhi Zun) showcasting on channel U every night, and after watching it today, was totally enjoying it. Some hongkong drama has such charisma that none of the local drama can match to and draw crowds (me) to. Too bad im gona miss it due to NS, sigh... hopefully my mum records it down everyday, or worse, buy the vcds, =(
