Yes... it is a program by BBC for discovery channel... But I enjoyed watching discovery channel simply because I just want to find out more about the world that we lived in.
It is more like a documentary show, but it really amazed me to find out about wildlife in the amazon river, and I would never have known that the amazon river is full of dirt and dust, that the forest will be flooded with water and marine life in most time of the year...
Definitely interesting for people who are as interested as me to find out more about the earth, but a bit boring for those who aren't. There's no effects, no special nothing, just a documentary, I wouldn't say no to it or any similar series.
If only I can travel around the world to find out more about the lives, wildlife or human habitats, cities or rural areas, if only I can start traveling...

Jumper
A fresh storyline it seems, quite fresh enough for me to watch... A guy born with the ability to jump through space to anywhere in the world... Just imagine what will you do if you have this kind of ability?
The main lead in this story used it to steal money from banks, but other than that, live a decent life, not causing any other harms to anyone else. Then here it comes, crusade army... Just why does everything has to be linked to the crusade army? I'm not a Christian, i do not know what is the crusade army and what does it do... but it seems rather even in storybooks and most movies, including the "Da Vinci Code" use it as well. Anyway, the hero get hunted by the army, so he joined forces with another jumper to try and save his own life.
Is the movie trying to shows that the crusade is the holy force? Of course not, because they kill recklessly as well, so I'm not quite sure what the director wants the crusade to be depicted as...
Anyway, it is still the same old story, whereby the hero managed to save his own ass and get a beauty in the end, and they continue to live that "jumping" life.
So just imagine, what will you do if you have this ability? Who will still be with you? Just what will happen? Its a fresh story, with some special effects to show the "jumping" effect, other than that, quite normal, but still worth the ticket price to watch.

Bats – Human Harvest
A "B-rated" film again. The same old story of how a mad scientist goes against his own country just because he feels the country did injustice to him.
The story is set in a forest in Russia, whereby the scientist develop bats craving for meats, any meats... controllable by sound wave system developed by the scientist himself...
An US military troop is sent in to capture the scientist to stop his evil plan.. blah blah blah... everyone dies in the end, left 1 hero to stop the scientist, same old plot... nothing fancy with the storyline... nothing fancy about the sound effects... nothing fancy about the graphics, not even any musics... no specials at all... a film worthy to watch in the 90s when everything was simple, but in the 21st century, it just doesn't fit in.
It isn't worth the ticket price to watch at any cinema currently, but buying some cheap vcd is still decent enough to kill some time.
